Timetable improvements from Sunday 22 September

From Sunday 22 September, we will be making improvements to some of our routes including frequency increases and reliability improvements. See below for details:
U1A/U1C
- Monday to Friday frequency increased, up to every 6-8 minutes.
- Sunday frequency increased from every 15 minutes to up to every 10 minutes.
- All evening U1C journeys will now serve NOCS.
- Buses will no longer continue to Eastleigh on Saturdays and Sundays.
- U1E journeys on Monday to Friday reduced from 5 to 2 journeys per day.

U1N
- Fantastic news, this Night bus will now also run on Tuesdays during term time as well as Fridays and Saturdays!
- An additional trip at 04:05 from the City Centre for your convenience.
- All U1N journeys will terminate at Wessex Lane Halls and no longer serve Airport or Eastleigh.
- Please note, this service will now not run outside of term time.

U2/U2B/U2C
- The journeys at 06:15 from Bassett Green and 06:40 from Central Station will no longer run on Monday to Friday.
- Saturday journeys during term time will follow the same route in Bassett Green as they do Monday to Friday by running from Highfield Interchange to Glen Eyre Halls to begin the Bassett Green loop.

U6C/U6H
- New timetable with reliability improvements, some afternoon journeys will run later so please check the timetable carefully
- New improved Sunday frequency increased now every 30 minutes!
- Extra early journey added Monday to Saturday at 05:35 from RSH to General Hospital & Aldermoor.
- Great news for hospital workers, the evening frequency has been increased to provide extra journeys from the General Hospital to accommodate shift changes.

U9
- New timetable to improve reliability.
- The morning route has changed to improve journey time onto Cobden Bridge. Instead of turning right from St Catherines Road onto Cobden Avenue, buses will now turn right into Bond Road, then left into Manor Farm Road before turning right to Bitterne Park Triangle. The stop at the bottom of St Catherines Road (near Tesco Express) will no longer be served.
