Temporary changes to Unilink bus routes

From Monday the 13th of February, we will introduce some temporary changes to our U1 route due to Southampton City Council carrying out infrastructural work on the south side of Southampton Central Station.  Although the route will change to avoid the station, the services will still be available from outside Asda and Marlands or the Civic Centre.

The work is expected to take approximately six months to complete, although this hasn't yet been confirmed. Quayconnect services will also be affected. For more information click here.

If you are travelling to-and-from the University of Southampton's Highfield Campus, you can use our U2 service which will remain unaffected from the Mayflower Halls stop. If you wish to travel to or from the National Oceanography Centre, you can board the U1 at the Asda & Marlands stop. A temporary route map will be available whilst the work is in progress.

The timetable is revised as a result of the route changes, with some journeys running slightly earlier, so please make sure you check the timetable carefully. We have created a temporary timetable to show these updates.
