Southampton Plus and Network zones

All Unilink routes operate within the Southampton Zone, so if you only need to travel within this zone, the above tickets are all you need.

However, if you plan to use Unilink services and then swap for Bluestar or other services and cross into the Southampton Plus or Network zones, it may be cheaper to buy a ticket that also covers you for unlimited journeys in multiple zones, rather than purchasing separate tickets.

Travel regularly?

If you travel on our buses regularly, we also have 7, 30 and 90 day bus pass options available, as well as academic term and annual passes. Details of these travel options can be found on our period tickets page.

Contactless

All of our buses accept contactless payments. As long as your card, phone or watch supports contactless payments, you can use it on our buses. Our ticket machines do not support Chip & PIN payments and random spot checking (where your bank will make you perform a Chip & PIN payment every certain number of transactions) will not occur as bus travel is considered an essential service. The usual limit of £30 applies to contactless transactions, however, you can make multiple transactions using the same card.

Using contactless on-board is safe, secure and easy and carries the same level of protection as using Chip & PIN.
