NEW circular Unilink bus route to the University of Southampton Science Park

From the 4th of September 2023, we will be running a new route connecting the University of Southampton Science Park with both the Highfield Campus and Southampton Airport Parkway. The route will operate Monday to Friday, all year round, excluding bank holidays.

The U8 will be entirely within the Southampton ticket zone, and all Southampton zone tickets will be valid for use. The £2 fare cap is currently in place so this is the best option if you have simply planned a return journey. If you'd like to travel to multiple locations within the Southampton Zone, we recommend you buy a dayrider ticket for the best value.

University of Southampton staff and students can use their discounted tickets on the U8. Further information on fares and our timetable will be available on this page soon.
