Bluestar 28 updates and NEW 28a

From Monday 3 November, we will be making some updates to the Bluestar 28 between Central Station and Southampton Science Park and introducing a NEW 28a route to complement the existing service. These routes are fully within the Southampton Zone.
The 28 will be rerouted to serve Highfield Interchange in both directions and provide connections to other Unilink services. It will run as follows: Central Station > Avenue > Highfield Interchange > Chilworth > Southampton Science Park
A NEW 28a will start running 3 journeys per day between Airport Parkway and Southampton Science Park via Barton Peveril College, Chestnut Avenue and Chilworth:
- 08:28 from Airport Parkway arriving at Southampton Science Park for a 09:00 start.
- 16:10 and 17:10 from Southampton Science Park which will extend beyond Airport Parkway to Highfield Interchange.
