ABP Southampton Marathon
Sunday 5th May sees the return of the ABP Southampton Marathon, half marathon, 10k road race and Fun Run in and around Southampton City Centre.
The event will significantly impact the running of most, if not all, of our services, with many roads closed throughout the day, so below is all our diversion and timetable information, so you can plan your day knowing when and where our buses will be.
Heading down to watch? Why not hop on a Bluestar or Unilink bus for hassle-free travel to the City Centre and no parking worries! Sit back and relax on board with USB charging ports and free Wi-Fi on all of our buses.
And if you are running or marshalling the event, how does FREE TRAVEL sound? Just show your entry details/ID card to our drivers when you board!
Here's how our services will be impacted on the day:

U1A will divert between Western Esplanade (Central Station) and London Road (Giddy Bridge), and will be unable to serve the Civic Centre and Cenotaph bus stops, but will serve the stop outside the BBC Studios as an alternative.
U2B will divert between West Park Road (Mayflower Halls) and London Road (Giddy Bridge), and will be unable to serve the Art Gallery or Cenotaph bus stops. Your nearest stops are at Mayflower Halls or Giddy Bridge.
U2C and U6 services will be unaffected by these closures.
