    • U1 Shaftesbury Avenue Portswood closure

      15th - 19th Jun 2026

      Due to emergency works Shaftesbury Avenue has been closed. This closure is between 7:00 and 17:30 pm each day. These works should take 5 days finishing on Friday 19th June. U1 services are being diverted in both directions via Grosvenor Road whilst these works are in operation. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.     • Shaftsbury Avenue closed on the UniLink U1A & U1C

Services diverted via Havelock Road (SeaCity Museum) and the Ring Road in both directions. We apologise for any inconvenience.

    • UniLink U1A/C DIVERSION-Above Bar Street closed from Midnight Sunday 31st May to Friday 24th July 2026.

      UniLink U1A/C DIVERSION-Above Bar Street closed from Midnight Sunday 31st May to Friday 24th July 2026. Services will divert between Portland Terrace (ASDA's) & The Cenotaph via Havelock Road & Commercial Road in both directions. Service will not stop at the BBC stop in Havelock Road heading towards London Road but all other stops will be served. There will be no service to The Civic Centre bus stops in Civic Centre Road throughout the works. We apologise for any inconvenience.
