Between 09:00 & 13:30: Buses between Highfield Campus and the City/NOCS will divert from Highfield Interchange via The Avenue to Stag Gates then via Dorset Street, St Andrews Road and Kingsway to Queensways (Debenhams). Buses from Southampton between 09:00 & 13:30 will only pick up at Queensways (Debenhams) and Stag Gates.
- Passengers between Highfield & Portswood should use the U6 during this time.
- Passengers between Portswood & City Centre should use the Portswood Shuttle during this time (See below).
- Passengers for Central Station should use the U2.
- NOCS will be unserved during this time
Between 08:15 & 16:00: Buses will divert between Boldrewood Campus and Central Station/Mayflower Halls via Hill Lane. Stops between Avenue Campus & The Cenotaph will not be served. Passengers for Avenue Campus or College Place should use the U1 during this time.
Between 09:00 & 14:00: A shuttle will operate between the General Hospital running normal route to Highfield Interchange, then an anticlockwise loop serving Welbeck Avenue, Portswood (Sainsburys), Swaythling McDonald's, Highfield Interchange and back to General Hospital. Passengers between Portswood & City Centre should use the Portswood shuttle (See below).
Many Bluestar services will also be affected by the road closures.
Between 08:00 & 13:00: Buses between Central Station & Town Quay will divert in both directions via West Quay Road. Alternative Stop for West Quay is available outside IKEA on West Quay Road.
A Special shuttle service will be in operation during the period when Bluestar 2 and Unilink U1, and U6 are unable to serve Portswood.
Buses will run up to every 20 minutes from Portswood Broadway via Bevois Valley, RSH Hospital and Kingsway to Houndwell Place (Debenhams).
